Breathe in, breathe out...

Life can be pretty nerve wracking at time...
People can annoy you, and you can be frustrated at yourself.

Between the two, the latter is the tougher one. It challenges you. You doubt your own talent and gifts... You question your purpose and your intention for doing something. Occasionally, you try your best to push the blame on others, and sometimes, you simply break down and Que Sera Sera, whatever will be, will be.

And this sort of stuff don't just happen once a day... It happens all the time...

My way out is to breathe in and breathe out... Maybe whatever will be, will be... But, the fact that I am still breathing means it's not over yet... And for that, I live :)

A Verse that Change My Life

2 Corinthians 13:5 (TLB)
Check up on yourselves. Are you really Christians? Do you pass the test? Do you feel Christ's presence and power more and more within you? Or are you just pretending to be Christians when actually you aren't at all?

2012 - I know I want more and more and more of Your presence and power.

A Day to Remember - 060112

Today is the day...

God, I am sure I love You more than I ever did before...
And I am sure of how You have always love me.
You never fail to turn up.
In fact, You have always been there...
Always...

Your presence is overwhelming.
You make me want more of You.
You assure me every moment that You are with me.
I love You, and I love You and I love You...
More today than I ever did before.

Thank You, Daddy God :)

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

I'm in a writing mode... So yeah, another post from me :)

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Yes, they made up my life... That has got to be my biggest joy for 2011...

Friends cheer each other on...
Friends keep believing in each other...
Friends laugh together...
Friends celebrate together...
Friends encourage each other...
Friends care for each other...

And best of all, friends stick together :D

"A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" - Proverbs 18:24

Thank you my dear friends :)

Christmas isn't Christmas...

Title came from a famous Christmas song which I first learn when I was in choir a long long way back in my high school days...

Christmas isn't Christmas...
- till it happens in your heart (original lyrics)
- till you buy and give gifts to your love ones
- till you see the beautiful deco in shopping malls
- till you spend it with AWESOME friends and family

A New Revelation :)

GOD is not a respecter of men...

Acts 10:34-35
34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

In Cornelius's house, EVERYONE has equal chance to experience God... Not only the rich, educated and good looking, but EVERYONE!!! It doesn't matter! God is not a respecter of man.

Acts 15:8-9
8 So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Wow!!! I'm amazed :)

Most of us who have been to church will be familiar of the term 'God give life and life more abundantly'. Well, it came from this verse in John chapter 10, verse 10.I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

I was randomly Googling (yes, that word was used by Larry Page himself!) the verse when I randomly thought about it in the midst of my assignments... The translation was the thing that make me go 'WAHHHHHH!!!'.

Hopefully it will blow you away too :)

'Life and life more abundantly'...

... in the New International Version:
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

... in the GOD'S WORD Translation:
But I came so that my sheep will have life and so that they will have everything they need.

... in the Bible in Basic English:
I have come so that they may have life and have it in greater measure.

... in the New Living Translation:
My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

... and my personal favorite in the Aramaic Bible in Plain English:
But a thief does not come except to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have whatever is abundant.
